Technocom Collects Formal Dresses for High School Women
08.08.07

Portland, Ore. – Technocom, Inc., a leading provider of technology services, is accepting formal dress donations for a Portland based nonprofit organization, Abby’s Closet.

In an effort to help young women attend their high school prom, Technocom is now a collection site of formal dresses for Abby's Closet. Abby’s Closet is an organization created to fulfill a mission to collect and distribute prom dresses, free of charge, to girls who might otherwise be unable to attend their high school prom due to the cost of a dress. Technocom accepts donations year round and is looking for new or gently used prom/formal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, wraps and purses in good condition that are appropriate for high school women. All donors of dresses will receive a tax–deduction receipt.

"Supporting community outreach programs like Abby's Closet is a high priority for our employees who are passionate about giving back to the community," says Technocom Chief Executive Officer Rick McCloskey. The 4th annual Abby's Closet Prom Boutique will be held April 12th–13th, 2008 at the Oregon Convention Center.

Dresses can be dropped off at Technocom’s office at 15618 SW 72nd Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97224. If you have any questions, please contact us at (503) 670–9910 or visit www.abbyscloset.org.
