Wilsonville, Ore., October 26, 2007 ––Technocom, Inc., (http://www.gotechnocom.com) CEO, Rick McCloskey, has once again been invited to work with students from his alma mater, the University of Oregon. 

On October 30, McCloskey will take part in the Executive on Campus program, talking and working with undergraduate and MBA students.  Among other activities, McCloskey will be involved in a discussion with students enrolled in the Entrepreneurship Seminar with the Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship (LCE) at the U of O.

Just last year, McCloskey worked with the LCE’s New Venture Championship.  McCloskey was a judge in one of the preeminent business plan competitions in the world.

Commenting on his association and work with the University of Oregon, McCloskey noted, “It is important for our local economy that we find ways of keeping the brain power that we create through our university system, here in our state.  Medium and small sized companies, like Technocom, need this talent pool to grow.  These students need to feel they have great opportunity to be successful here at home.  It’s my hope that I can help this process in some way, including exposing these students to the many opportunities afforded to them in the State of Oregon.  In this way, all of our local business owners will be able to seek out these talented students and ultimately help us create a stronger local economy and state."
